Women's Mixer: Sat, July 26, 2008

Get your Saturday off to a great start by having breakfast with a group of women from Floris Church!  This month, we'll meet at French Connections at 8:30 am to about 10 am.  The restaurant is located in the strip mall at the corner of Elden Street and Herndon Parkway (behind Bank of America and Chipotle).  This "dutch treat" breakfast is sponsored by the Saturday Morning Cirlce of the United Methodist Women.  Do you need transportation?  We're happy to provide it!  Just contact Susan.

Annual Women’s Retreat
February 2009

 

Every year, usually in February, the Board of the United Methodist Women organizes a spiritual retreat (weekend getaway in the metropolitan Washington area) for women. The format is relaxed, yet at the same time uplifting.  A typical retreat is led by a motivational speaker and also includes devotion, prayer, music, and Sunday morning worship.  Time for fun is always built into the schedule! Attendance is open to any woman; she does not have to be a member of Floris Church or the UMW. For more information about this annual event, please contact BJ Mooney at 703-471-6323.
