Description: This group is for men who want to explore walking the line between being a man of our world and above all, serving God. The goal is to constructively challenge ourselves and each other to live up to God's standard by following the examples taught to us by Scripture. We will use text, video and audio to uncover and discuss the things men deal with in their professional, personal and spiritual life. Themes will include accountability, fellowship, service and growth. [Childcare is NOT available.]
First Light Bible Study

Description: Anxious to learn more about God's Word and how we can integrate it into our lives? Reading assignments are light and discussions are lively. In addition to weekly Bible study, this small group spends time lifting up others in prayer. (Childcare is NOT available.)
Disciple One

Description: Can you answer the question, "How do I justify my faith in God?" Are you able to answer questions from your children about God without having to make something up? Come join us to read 80% of the Bible and discuss it for 100 hours over the next 8 months. A new understanding of the Bible and a closer walk with God guaranteed! Preparation for weekly discussions take 3-4 hours per week. This class is truly a life changer! [Childcare is available.]
Women of the Word - Wednesday

Description: In January we will start a new curriculuum called Faith Lessons in the Early Church, a Focus on the Family study with Ray Vander Lan. Many women of Floris have been a part of WOW over the years, and credit it with being a critical component in their faith development. Groups place an emphasis on member-led devotions, personal Bible study, prayer, outreach and fellowship. An environment of intimacy and open, honest sharing is maintained within each group. WOW studies utilize a workbook format, in which readings and questions are completed before meeting with the group. [Childcare is available.]
Pastor's Bible Study

Description: The Bible is an ancient, yet profoundly current book that speaks to the issues of our lives and world. This Bible study is designed for those who want to study books of the Bible and draw applications to their daily lives. This year we will pick up in the Gospel of Matthew. The group welcomes newcomers and includes people of all ages. No prior experience with Bible study is required or expected. [Childcare is available.]
Weight Watchers

Description: This is Weight Watchers, Floris Style! A weekly Weight Watchers meeting run by a professional Weight Watchers leader, but with an added touch. Each meeting concludes with inspirational prayer and devotions. Many people at Floris have already lost their needed weight and are now Life Time members of Weight Watchers! [Childcare is available.]
Roundtable Wednesday Night

Faith Lessons Through Biblical Archeology

Description: This exciting study will take us on a round trip journey to ancient times, places and customs through a weekly video and group discussions. A few samples of the Faith Lessons we'll be exploring include The Promised Land - Crossroads of the World (5 weeks); The Life and Ministry of the Messiah (8 weeks); and Walk as Jesus Walked - Making Disciples (5 weeks). There are 7 Faith Lessons in all. You can take the whole study or join each time we start a new session. Filmed on location in Israel by Focus on the Family Films, this unique series brings God's Word to life! [Childcare is available.]

Description: Ladies, are you ready to start power-walking in your faith journey? If you've never participated in a Beth Moore study, this is a great place to start! Through this 12-week study, you can know the freedom of a life filled with the fruit of the Spirit. In Living Beyond Yourself, noted Bible teacher and author Beth Moore guides us through an in-depth study of the fruit of the Spirit - living proof that the Spirit of God dwells in each of us.
