Women of the Word - Thursday

Description: We will be undertaking a Beth Moore study, A Woman's Heart, God's Dwelling Place. We will explore God's detailed and intricate plan for the building of the Tabernacle while being challenged to prepare our hearts to become a home for God's love and glory. "Women of the Word" is a women's Bible study that explores scripture for its life application, and promotes personal reflection and transformation. Many women of Floris have been a part of WOW over the years, and credit it with being a critical component in their faith development. Groups place an emphasis on member-led devotions, personal Bible study, prayer, outreach and fellowship. An environment of intimacy and open, honest sharing is maintained within each group. WOW studies utilize a workbook format, in which readings and questions are completed before meeting with the group. [Childcare is available.]
Divorce Care

Time: 6:30 - 8:30pm

Duration: 13 weeks, starts September 13th

Description: Divorce Care is a 13-week support group for anyone experiencing the challenge of recovering from the hurt of separation or divorce. The weekly sessions consist of viewing a videotape featuring top experts on divorce and recovery followed by a discussion of various related topics. The program focuses on recovery by building on faith and allowing God's grace to bring joy and hope back into those facing the trauma of divorce. [Childcare is available. Marriage Matters This group is full!

Description: Marriage Matters is a 27-week workshop curriculum provided to help couples who have a desire to build and strenghthen their relationship. It also helps those who are experiencing marital difficulties to resolve their current struggles and identify next steps in their spiritual and emotional growth. [Childcare is available.]
TNT (Twenties & Thirties)

Time: 7:00 - 8:30pm
Location: Floris UMC
Duration: On-going, starts September 13

Description: TNT is a group for those in their 20s and 30s that offers a weekly Bible study and various social events. The Bible study will focus on extending our relationship with Christ and our Christian community. (Childcare is available.)
BYOBible
