Children’s Ministry is excited about the launch of a new model for Sunday Morning 1st – 5th grade program! As we consider the importance of developing Christ followers, we realize the need for all aspects; Worship, Teaching (enhanced by skits, puppets etc), Prayer, and Small Groups. Your child(ren) will have the opportunity to engage in all these areas as they participate at the 9:15 or 11am services.
We will begin in the “The Hangar” on the 2nd floor where large group Worship, Teaching, and Corporate Prayer will occur. Then the 1st – 3rd grades will go to a three part rotation to enhance the teaching through games, object lessons, and scripture memory activities, then conclude the morning in small groups where they can ask questions and build relationships. The 4th and 5th grades will go to their space to go deeper in the lesson in an age appropriate environment.
While this is going on, our pre-K through Kindergarten will be enjoying their own programs with music, teaching, games, play, and prayer!
