Jonathan grew up in western New York before moving to North Carolina in middle school. He moved near Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to study Christian ministries and history at Messiah College. He loved his time in college and had several significant formative experiences during his four years there, including serving in various student leadership roles and studying abroad for a semester in Uganda. It was there that he met Abby, the beautiful woman who became his wife in August 2016. They now live in Fairfax while he pursues his Masters of Divinity at Wesley Theological Seminary and works at Floris UMC.
Jonathan's primary responsibilities as fellows program coordinator include providing vision and leadership to the many moving parts of the new Fellows Program at Floris UMC. He is responsible for recruiting recent college graduates to participate in the program, recruiting volunteers to host and mentor these students during their year-long experience and connecting with members of the Floris UMC congregation and community to ensure the fellows have an enriching, faith-deepening and meaningful experience as part of the program.

Most people don't know this about Jonathan: Jonathan played Father Christmas in a parade in Uganda, and the presents he delivered to children caught on fire. Seriously...you have to ask him about this story!
