Easter Basket Ministry
Pick up basket tags in the Gathering Space Sunday, March 23
Return filled baskets to the Fellowship Hall Sunday, April 6 by 1 p.m.
Do you want to bring a smile to a child this Easter?
The Floris UMC family provides Easter baskets to children in our community who are living in shelters and transitional housing each Easter. This year the goal of the Easter Basket Ministry is to fill 600-700 baskets. Floris UMC families pick up tags representing a child, purchase a basket and no more than $25 worth of goodies to fill the basket.
When dropping off baskets, please be sure that the tag is visibly in place and the basket is securely wrapped using the cellophane bag you received with the tag. If you need to make alternate arrangements to drop off your basket, please contact Debbie Mowery at firstname.lastname@example.org before April 4.
