Children with Special Needs
- Sunday Morning Buddy Ministry: On Sunday mornings, we host a Buddy Ministry that pairs children with special needs, age three through fifth grade, with volunteers who provide appropriate support and assistance so that the children can participate fully in our Kid Nation activities.
- Respite Care: For those raising children with special needs, Floris UMC also provides Respite Care. Once a month, volunteers provide in-home childcare so that parents/caregivers of children with special needs may enjoy a few hours to themselves to spend a night out, run errands, attend meetings or whatever else they may need. For more information, contact Carole Cotman.
