My ten years of being a Hutchison Elementary school volunteer has been truly a blessing to my life. For a long time, I asked myself how I can help these children during the summer and during after school hours, so when Camp Hutchison was introduced in last year I was relieved and felt like a dream come true. Camp Hutchison also helps me discern which class I will volunteer in for during the upcoming school year.

Part of our job is to help the children understand how education is one of the most important aspects of their life that they can accomplish their goals. I have seen some amazing progress in so many students and it is great to be a part of their learning. Camp Hutchison is engaging and fun and I love when I begin to understand the children’s characteristics and personalities. The reading, math, and enrichments lessons are amazing to say the least and I am blessed to be a part.
