ABOUT BEING BRAVE
Adapting her popular speaking engagement, Being Brave, for middle and high school students, Kelly Johnson, counselor, speaker, author and life coach will guide participants through experiential exercises that explores the inner critic and God’s name for us — BRAVE. Parents are very welcome and strongly encouraged to come. Here is a description of Kelly’s talk:
What names do you call yourself?
We all have a voice inside our heads that calls us names. Our inner critic is a saboteur and speaks the language of shame and lies, yet, scripture tells us that God names us brave and beloved. Join author, speaker and life coach Kelly Johnson and learn how to turn up the volume on God’s voice and turn down the volume on that saboteur voice that keeps us stuck. Through curiosity, compassion and connection, we remember that we are BRAVE!
