Facebook Live Generous: the meaning, the mindset, the method

Join Rev. Tom Berlin on Facebook Live as he discusses the sermon series, GeneroUS. Joining him is the President of Wesley Theological Seminary, Rev. Dr. David McAllister-Wilson.

 

David McAllister-Wilson

The Reverend Dr. David McAllister-Wilson serves as President of Wesley Theological Seminary. As one of the nation’s largest and leading theological schools, it prepares approximately 1,300 men and women for ministry a year. David has a passion for the training and development of effective leadership. He often consults within the world of churches and seminaries.

Originally from Thousand Oaks, California, David graduated from California State University, Northridge, with a BA in History. He earned his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Wesley Theological Seminary.

David has contributed several articles in various publications, including a chapter in the book, “Christian Reflections on the Leadership Challenge.” His most recent book, “A New Church and A New Seminary,” is used in several theological schools.

David is married to The Reverend Drema McAllister-Wilson. They have four children and six grandchildren.

Floris Celebration SundaySeptember 11

To ensure parking for everyone attending this event, additional parking is available at Floris Elementary School.

Park and ride the Floris Shuttle, which will run from 2:15-7:15 p.m.

Labor DaySeptember 5

In observance of Labor Day, the offices of Floris UMC/Restoration will be closed on September 5.  We will reopen on September 6.
