Recycling them properly helps reduce environmental harm and supports responsible stewardship of the resources we’ve been given. \nWhat to Bring\nWe welcome batteries of all sizes commonly used in the home\, from small everyday batteries to larger household types. Simply bring your used batteries and place them in the designated collection bins. Our team will take care of the rest. \nMake an Impact Together\nThis is a great opportunity to declutter your home while contributing to a healthier environment. It’s also a chance to come together as a community and live out our shared commitment to caring for creation. \nJoin Us\nWhether you’ve been saving up old batteries or just have a few to recycle\, every contribution makes a difference. DESCRIPTION:GRACE Ministries of the United Methodist Church is a mission project that serves low-income families in our community. It shares the gospel of God’s love through food clothing seven United Methodist churches in Northern Virginia. GRACE Ministries also provides Personal Care Aide (PCA) training Multicultural Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) training College Prep ESL classes for graduates of the CNA program These programs assist in easing emergency situations and create career opportunities in areas of significant workforce needs. This group offers a welcoming space to celebrate culture\, faith\, and connection in a supportive church environment. \nEach month includes opportunities to build relationships\, share meaningful conversation\, and grow in faith together through worship\, prayer\, scripture\, and music. Blending United Methodist tradition with the vibrant expression of our diverse community\, this gathering creates space for both spiritual renewal and authentic connection. Whether you are new to the area\, exploring faith\, or looking for a community to call home\, you are warmly invited to participate and be part of this growing fellowship. \nFamilies will find this to be a meaningful space to introduce children to cultural traditions while also experiencing the joy of worship in a diverse and caring church family. This is more than a monthly program—it is a community rooted in belonging\, encouragement\, and shared faith. \nSpecial June Gathering – Offsite Picnic \nOn Saturday\, June 6\, the South Asian Worship & Fellowship group will meet off-site for a special family picnic at Lake Fairfax Park instead of their usual gathering at Floris UMC.
