DESCRIPTION:Floris Youth Music Festival Registration\nRegistration is now open for Floris Youth Music Festival! If you’re a student in grades 6–12 with a passion for music\, dance\, or performance\, we invite you to share your talents in a supportive\, creative\, and faith-filled community. \nWhether you love to sing\, play an instrument\, dance\, perform as part of a band\, or showcase another musical talent\, Floris Youth Music Festival is a place where you can grow your skills\, express your creativity\, and encourage others through the performing arts. \nShare Your Gifts\nYouth Music Festival welcomes students with a variety of talents\, including: \n\nVocal performances\nInstrumental performances\nDance\nBands and small ensembles\nOther musical or performance talents\n\nNo matter your experience level\, this is an opportunity to develop your abilities while connecting with other students who share your passion for music and performance. \nPerform Throughout the Year\nParticipants will have the opportunity to perform in two Youth Music Festival concerts during the program year\, giving students the chance to share their talents with family\, friends\, and the church community while building confidence and performance experience. \nStudents will also have the opportunity to receive service hours for their participation. Join us for the Christmas Cantata at Floris UMC\, where voices and instruments come together to celebrate the joy and wonder of Christmas. \nEach year\, our sanctuary is filled with the rich harmonies of a dedicated choir and orchestra\, bringing the Christmas story to life through music. This is your opportunity to be part of that tradition—whether you sing soprano\, alto\, tenor\, bass\, or play an instrument\, we invite you to join us in creating something truly special. \nThis year’s cantata promises to be a powerful expression of community and faith through music. Rehearsals are designed to be encouraging\, well-paced\, and enjoyable.
