DESCRIPTION:Cooking Class for Lasagna for Hypothermia\nSunday\, January 18\, 20261:00–3:00 p.m.  \nJoin us for a meaningful and hands-on cooking experience that combines learning\, fellowship\, and giving back to our community. Floris UMC invites you to our Cooking Class for Lasagna for Hypothermia\, where participants will learn how to make delicious lasagna while supporting those experiencing homelessness during the cold winter months. \nThis one-time small group event is designed for adults and teens interested in cooking and community service. Guided by our Serve Ministry team\, you will create a pan of lasagna that will be donated to the Hypothermia Shelter to provide warm meals for people in need. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn new kitchen skills\, enjoy fellowship\, and make a tangible impact in the lives of others. \nEvent Highlights\n\nHands-on instruction in making lasagna from scratch\nTips and techniques for meal prep and cooking\nOpportunity to contribute directly to the Hypothermia Shelter\nSmall\, supportive group setting to encourage connection\n\nRegistration Details\n\nRegistration Required: Yes\nFee: $15 per participant (includes ingredients to make a pan of lasagna)\nCapacity: 15 participants\nRegistration Opens: December 2\, 2025\nRegistration Closes: January 11\, 2026\n\nParticipants are encouraged to arrive a little early for setup and stay through cleanup.
