DESCRIPTION:Celebrating the Class of 2026\n\nWe are excited to celebrate and honor the Class of 2026 as they mark this important milestone in their lives. Graduation is a time of achievement\, reflection\, and new beginnings\, and we want to recognize each graduate as part of our church family. \nGraduation Recognition Sunday\nOn Sunday\, June 14\, we will recognize all 2026 graduates during worship with a special slideshow celebration. This is a meaningful opportunity for our church community to celebrate the accomplishments of our students and pray over their next steps. \nTo include your graduate in the slideshow\, please submit: \n\n A photo of your graduate\n The school or program they are graduating from\n Their name\n\nPlease submit all information Here>\n \nHigh School Graduate Celebration Dinner\nWe also invite all 2026 high school graduates to a special celebration dinner: \n\nSunday\, May 31\n5:30 pm – 7:30 pm\nFloris UMC\n\nThis evening is designed just for our graduating seniors to gather\, be celebrated\, and enjoy time together with peers and church leaders. It is a chance to reflect on the journey so far and look ahead with encouragement and support from your church family. \nWe Want to Celebrate You\n \nGraduation is more than an ending\, it is a beginning. DESCRIPTION:Bright Life Mission Trip: Appalachia Service Project\nJune 28 – July 4\, 2026 \nSpend a week making a real difference with the Bright Life Mission Trip to Appalachia. This summer\, join a team of volunteers from our church as we travel to the Appalachian region to serve families\, support communities\, and experience life beyond our everyday routines. \nA Week of Service\nDuring the trip\, participants will take part in hands-on projects that include: \n\nHome repairs and maintenance\nCommunity improvement efforts\nSupporting families and neighborhoods in need\nServing alongside local ministries\n\nEach project is designed to meet real needs in the community while giving participants a chance to see the impact of their work firsthand. \nGrowth and Connection\nThe Bright Life Mission Trip is more than service. It is an opportunity to connect with others\, grow spiritually\, and experience God at work. Each day includes time for group reflection\, prayer\, and conversation\, helping participants process their experiences and see the difference they are making. \nWorking side by side with other volunteers builds friendships and fosters teamwork. Many participants leave with a deeper sense of purpose\, new perspectives\, and a heart for serving others. \nTrip Details and Cost\n\nDates: June 28 – July 4\, 2026\nCost: $400 per participant\n\n$200 deposit due upon application\nRemaining $200 due by May 5\n\n\n\nThe cost covers lodging\, meals\, transportation\, and project supplies.
