Whether it’s children’s clothing that has been outgrown\, professional attire you no longer wear\, warm coats\, everyday essentials\, or seasonal apparel\, your donations can become a meaningful blessing to someone in need. \nCollected clothing is carefully gathered throughout the quarter and then distributed through Grace Ministry\, helping individuals and families access quality clothing in a welcoming and supportive environment. Your generosity not only helps meet a practical need but also reminds our neighbors that they are seen\, valued\, and loved. \nBefore donating\, please ensure that all clothing is clean\, in good condition\, and ready to be worn by its next owner. Each student will also receive a special tag to place on their backpack as a reminder that they are never alone on their journey. \nThis is a wonderful opportunity for families to begin the school year with a spirit of hope\, connection\, and encouragement. During a special moment in the service\, we’ll offer a blessing over the students and their backpacks\, asking God to guide\, protect\, and encourage them throughout the school year. Each student will also receive a special tag to place on their backpack as a reminder that they are never alone on their journey. \nThis is a wonderful opportunity for families to begin the school year with a spirit of hope\, connection\, and encouragement. It shares the gospel of God’s love through food clothing seven United Methodist churches in Northern Virginia. GRACE Ministries also provides Personal Care Aide (PCA) training Multicultural Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) training College Prep ESL classes for graduates of the CNA program These programs assist in easing emergency situations and create career opportunities in areas of significant workforce needs. Whether you are new to the area\, exploring faith\, or looking for a community to call home\, you are warmly invited to participate and be part of this growing fellowship. \nFamilies will find this to be a meaningful space to introduce children to cultural traditions while also experiencing the joy of worship in a diverse and caring church family.
