DESCRIPTION:Bright Life Mission Trip: Appalachia Service Project\nJune 28 – July 4\, 2026 \nSpend a week making a real difference with the Bright Life Mission Trip to Appalachia. This summer\, join a team of volunteers from our church as we travel to the Appalachian region to serve families\, support communities\, and experience life beyond our everyday routines. \nA Week of Service\nDuring the trip\, participants will take part in hands-on projects that include: \n\nHome repairs and maintenance\nCommunity improvement efforts\nSupporting families and neighborhoods in need\nServing alongside local ministries\n\nEach project is designed to meet real needs in the community while giving participants a chance to see the impact of their work firsthand. \nGrowth and Connection\nThe Bright Life Mission Trip is more than service. It is an opportunity to connect with others\, grow spiritually\, and experience God at work. Each day includes time for group reflection\, prayer\, and conversation\, helping participants process their experiences and see the difference they are making. \nWorking side by side with other volunteers builds friendships and fosters teamwork. Many participants leave with a deeper sense of purpose\, new perspectives\, and a heart for serving others. \nTrip Details and Cost\n\nDates: June 28 – July 4\, 2026\nCost: $400 per participant\n\n$200 deposit due upon application\nRemaining $200 due by May 5\n\n\n\nThe cost covers lodging\, meals\, transportation\, and project supplies. DESCRIPTION:A Summer of Growth and Connection\nAdult Enrichment is a joyful\, inclusive summer program hosted by Floris United Methodist Church through its Access Ministries community. This program is designed for adults with disabilities\, unique abilities\, or those who benefit from additional support\, offering a welcoming space to grow\, connect\, and thrive. \nLearning Life Skills in a Supportive Environment\nSummer is a time to explore new interests\, strengthen life skills\, and build meaningful relationships. Adult Enrichment provides a structured\, supportive setting where participants can grow in independence while engaging in hands-on\, meaningful activities. Areas of focus include everyday living skills\, communication and social development\, functional learning such as math and literacy\, and wellness and personal growth. \nA Community Where Everyone Belongs\nMore than a program\, Adult Enrichment is a place of belonging. Every participant is valued\, supported\, and encouraged in a community rooted in inclusion\, respect\, and care.
