DESCRIPTION:Alcoholics Anonymous Meetings at Floris UMC \n\nAlcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who come together to solve their drinking problem. It doesn’t cost anything to attend A.A. meetings. There are no age or education requirements to participate. Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about their drinking problem. Anyone with a desire to stop drinking is welcome\, regardless of race\, gender\, sexual orientation\, religion\, income or profession. And it’s free. At meetings you can just sit and listen and learn more about recovery\, or you can share about your situation. It’s completely up to you. This special evening is open to everyone and offers a warm\, welcoming space to reflect\, renew\, and celebrate God’s faithfulness as we step into a brand-new year. \nWatchnight is a longstanding Christian tradition rooted in gratitude and hope. It’s a time to pause from the pace of the season\, look back on the blessings and challenges of the past year\, and center our hearts on God’s presence and guidance for the year ahead. Whether you come seeking quiet reflection\, uplifting worship\, or simply a community to celebrate with\, this service provides a beautiful opportunity to start the new year grounded in prayer. \nLed by the South Asian Fellowship\, the service will feature a rich blend of prayer\, praise\, and cultural expressions of worship. Expect heartfelt music\, moments of communal prayer\, and scripture that speaks to renewal and trust in God’s promises. The atmosphere is reverent yet joyful\, creating a powerful sense of unity as we welcome the year together. \nThis gathering is open to all\, regardless of background or previous experience with Watchnight traditions.
