Featuring the photography and videography of Alexis Doty\, this exhibition highlights the quiet beauty\, honest emotion\, and powerful stories found within the life and ministry of Floris UMC. \nTitled Love\, Serve\, Lead\, this show explores what it means to live out faith through action. Each image captures moments of compassion\, service\, leadership\, and connection\, revealing how love is expressed not only through words\, but through presence\, care\, and community. From worship and fellowship to service and outreach\, Alexis’s work offers a visual narrative of a church actively living its calling. \nAs both a photographer and videographer at Floris UMC\, Alexis Doty brings a deeply personal and thoughtful perspective to her work. Her lens focuses on authenticity rather than perfection\, drawing attention to the small but meaningful interactions that often go unnoticed. DESCRIPTION:Join the Good Friday Cantata\nCalling choir members\, musicians\, and narrators \nEach year\, Floris UMC’s Good Friday Cantata offers a powerful and prayerful way to journey through the story of Christ’s passion through music\, Scripture\, and reflection. We invite you to be part of this meaningful worship experience by joining the Good Friday Cantata Choir\, Orchestra\, or Narration Team. \nThis annual cantata brings together singers\, instrumentalists\, and readers from across the church to create a moving service that helps lead the congregation into the depth and significance of Good Friday. Whether you are a seasoned musician or someone who simply loves to worship through music and storytelling\, there is a place for you. \n\nWho Can Participate\n\nChoir members (no audition required)\nOrchestra musicians (various instruments welcome)\nNarrators/readers to help guide the congregation through Scripture and reflection\n\nAdults and youth with musical or reading experience are encouraged to participate. This is a wonderful opportunity to serve in worship and be part of a collaborative\, Spirit-led ministry. \n\nRecruitment & Information Sessions\nInterested participants are invited to attend one of the following recruitment sessions to learn more about the cantata\, rehearsal schedule\, and participation expectations: \n\nWednesday\, January 28 | 8:10–9:00 pm\nSunday\, February 1 | 12:15–1:00 pm\n\nRehearsals will begin at the end of January\, with details shared at the recruitment sessions. \n\nWhy Join?\n\nContribute your gifts to a deeply meaningful Good Friday service\nExperience worship through music\, storytelling\, and collaboration\nBe part of a long-standing Floris UMC tradition that impacts the entire congregation\n\n\nRegistration\nRegistration is required to help us plan and coordinate rehearsals and roles.
