Featuring the photography and videography of Alexis Doty\, this exhibition highlights the quiet beauty\, honest emotion\, and powerful stories found within the life and ministry of Floris UMC. \nTitled Love\, Serve\, Lead\, this show explores what it means to live out faith through action. Each image captures moments of compassion\, service\, leadership\, and connection\, revealing how love is expressed not only through words\, but through presence\, care\, and community. From worship and fellowship to service and outreach\, Alexis’s work offers a visual narrative of a church actively living its calling. \nAs both a photographer and videographer at Floris UMC\, Alexis Doty brings a deeply personal and thoughtful perspective to her work. Floris United Methodist Church and Restoration UMC invite you to begin this holy journey by attending our Ash Wednesday Service\, offered both in person and online. \nWhether you join us in the sanctuary or participate from home\, this service offers a meaningful opportunity to pause\, pray\, and reorient your heart toward God as we prepare for Easter. \n\nWhat to Expect in Worship\nThis service centers on encountering Jesus through prayerful\, time-honored practices that ground us at the start of Lent. DESCRIPTION:Grief to Peace: A Christ-Centered Support Group for Those Who Are Grieving\nWednesdays\, February 11 – March 18 | 7:00–8:30 PM \nGrief is a journey no one wants to take\, but one many of us must. If you’ve experienced the loss of someone close to you and are looking for comfort\, hope\, and healing\, Grief to Peace offers a safe and compassionate space to begin that journey — one step at a time\, with God by your side. \nThis six-week\, Christian-based support group is designed for anyone navigating the pain of grief. Whether your loss is recent or something you’ve carried for years\, you are welcome here. In a small group setting\, you’ll find encouragement\, connection\, and spiritual tools that can help you make sense of your grief and begin to heal. \nEach week\, we’ll explore common experiences of grief\, such as how it impacts your daily life\, relationships\, emotions\, and faith. You’ll learn spiritual strategies rooted in scripture for managing the physical\, mental\, and emotional weight of grief.
