Each month\, Floris United Methodist Church invites you to participate in our UpsideDown Moments Clothing Drive\, an ongoing opportunity to share hope\, dignity\, and compassion with members of our community who are experiencing hardship. \nOn the second Sunday of every month\, we welcome donations of gently used clothing for individuals of all ages\, from infants to adults. Whether it’s children’s clothing that has been outgrown\, professional attire you no longer wear\, warm coats\, everyday essentials\, or seasonal apparel\, your donations can become a meaningful blessing to someone in need. \nCollected clothing is carefully gathered throughout the quarter and then distributed through Grace Ministry\, helping individuals and families access quality clothing in a welcoming and supportive environment. Your generosity not only helps meet a practical need but also reminds our neighbors that they are seen\, valued\, and loved. \nBefore donating\, please ensure that all clothing is clean\, in good condition\, and ready to be worn by its next owner. Thoughtfully donated items help us serve others with dignity while making the distribution process easier for our volunteers. \nThe UpsideDown Moments Clothing Drive is a wonderful way to practice faithful stewardship by giving new purpose to items you no longer need. Every donation\, no matter how small\, contributes to a larger mission of caring for our community and sharing Christ’s love through acts of service. \nJoin us each month and help make a difference—one article of clothing at a time. We’d love for you to join members of Floris United Methodist Church for an informal community night out at Friday Night Live\, a local outdoor concert series featuring live music\, great energy\, and an all-ages crowd. \nWe’re excited to share that Floris is one of the sponsors of Friday Night Live this year! \n\nJune 12th – Gonzo’s Nose\nAugust 14th – Screaming Monkeys \n\nAdmission is free\, and it’s the perfect opportunity to relax\, enjoy the music\, and connect with others in a casual\, open-air setting. Whether you’ve been part of Floris for years or just started attending\, this is a great way to meet new people and build relationships—no pressure\, no agenda\, just a good time with good company. \nWe’ll be meeting on the grassy hill area at 5:45 p.m.—look for our group when you arrive! Bring a blanket or lawn chair so you can settle in comfortably. You’re welcome to sit with us or find your own spot nearby—whatever makes you feel most at ease. \nSpecial perk: The first 25 people who join the Floris group will receive a free ticket to use toward concessions! \nThere’s no need to RSVP\, but it is helpful if you do so we can share any important updates ahead of time.
