DESCRIPTION:Floris Youth Music Festival Registration\nRegistration is now open for Floris Youth Music Festival! If you’re a student in grades 6–12 with a passion for music\, dance\, or performance\, we invite you to share your talents in a supportive\, creative\, and faith-filled community. \nWhether you love to sing\, play an instrument\, dance\, perform as part of a band\, or showcase another musical talent\, Floris Youth Music Festival is a place where you can grow your skills\, express your creativity\, and encourage others through the performing arts. \nShare Your Gifts\nYouth Music Festival welcomes students with a variety of talents\, including: \n\nVocal performances\nInstrumental performances\nDance\nBands and small ensembles\nOther musical or performance talents\n\nNo matter your experience level\, this is an opportunity to develop your abilities while connecting with other students who share your passion for music and performance. \nPerform Throughout the Year\nParticipants will have the opportunity to perform in two Youth Music Festival concerts during the program year\, giving students the chance to share their talents with family\, friends\, and the church community while building confidence and performance experience. \nStudents will also have the opportunity to receive service hours for their participation. DESCRIPTION:Put Love Into Action\nWhat happens when we move from learning about an issue to doing something about it? \nWe lead with love. \nJoin us for a meaningful day of worship and service as we close out an impactful weekend focused on poverty\, food insecurity\, and the challenges facing our communities. Throughout the weekend\, we’ll have opportunities to learn\, listen\, understand\, and consider how we can make a difference. This Rise Against Hunger packaging event gives us the opportunity to take that learning one step further and put love into action. \nServe Together\nVolunteers of all ages will work together to package nutritious meals that will be distributed to communities experiencing hunger around the world. It’s a hands-on experience where your time and energy can make a tangible difference. \nMultiple packaging sessions will be available before and after the 9 and 11 a.m. worship services\, making it easy to participate as part of your Sunday. \nBring: \n\nYour family\nYour friends\nYour small group\nYour willingness to serve\nYour heart for making a difference\n\nNo special experience or skills are required. There’s a role for everyone\, whether this is your first service project or you’ve been volunteering for years. \nFrom Learning to Action\nThis weekend is designed to help us see more clearly\, care more deeply\, and respond more faithfully. \nThe Rise Against Hunger packaging event is a chance to take what we’ve learned about food insecurity and poverty and turn compassion into action. Together\, we can do more than talk about the challenges people face. We can roll up our sleeves and become part of the solution. \nAs we pack meals\, we’ll also experience the power of serving alongside one another. There will be opportunities to connect\, share conversation\, laugh\, and work toward a common purpose. \nLead With Love\nOur faith calls us to love our neighbors\, care for those in need\, and put compassion into practice.
