SUMMARY:Bible 101
DESCRIPTION:Bible 101\nGet to Know the Bible\nThe Bible is central to the Christian faith\, but knowing where to begin can sometimes feel overwhelming. How is the Bible organized? Who wrote it? How do all the different books\, stories\, and people fit together? And how can we better understand what we’re reading? \nBible 101 offers an approachable introduction to the Bible and the story it tells. Led by Bill Gray\, this four-week series will help you become more familiar with Scripture\, explore its major themes and stories\, and discover ways to engage with the Bible more confidently. \nExplore the Big Picture\nRather than simply reading individual passages\, Bible 101 gives you an opportunity to step back and see how the pieces fit together. We’ll explore the Bible’s overarching story while becoming more familiar with the people\, events\, themes\, and books that make up Scripture. \nTogether\, we’ll explore: \n\nHow the Bible is organized\nMajor stories and people throughout Scripture\nKey themes that run throughout the Bible\nHow the Old and New Testaments connect\nWays to approach and understand Scripture\nHow the Bible can shape our faith and everyday lives\n\nWhether you’re new to the Bible\, have been reading it for years\, or simply want a better understanding of the bigger picture\, there’s something here for you. \nAsk Questions. Learn Together.\nYou don’t need to be a Bible expert to participate. Bible 101 is a space to learn\, ask questions\, and explore Scripture alongside others. \nCome curious and ready to discover more about the Bible and the story at the heart of the Christian faith. \nJoin Us This Fall\nWednesdays\, September 23–October 14\nLed by Bill Gray \nSet aside four Wednesdays to explore the Bible from a fresh perspective and build a stronger foundation for engaging with Scripture. \nCome learn the story\, explore the Scriptures\, and discover how the Bible connects to your faith.
