DESCRIPTION:Holy Thursday Worship Service\nA Sacred Evening of Reflection and Communion\nHoly Thursday is a meaningful and sacred moment in the Christian calendar. On this evening\, we remember Jesus’ final meal with His disciples\, often called the Last Supper. It is a time for the church to gather in worship\, reflection\, and gratitude as we recall the love\, humility\, and service that Jesus demonstrated in His final hours before the cross. \n\nRemember the Last Supper\nHoly Thursday invites us to pause and reflect on one of the most powerful moments in the story of Holy Week. During this service\, we remember the night Jesus gathered with His disciples\, shared a meal with them\, and gave them a lasting example of love and humble service. \nThrough scripture\, prayer\, and reflection\, we will revisit the story of the Last Supper and consider what it means for our lives today. This sacred time helps prepare our hearts as we continue the journey toward Good Friday and the hope of Easter. \n\nShare in Communion\nA central part of this service is the opportunity to share in Holy Communion together as a church community. During this service\, families will have the opportunity to explore the story and significance of communion in a way that is interactive and accessible for everyone. \nEvening Schedule\n5:00 – 6:00 PM | Community Dinner\nWe’ll begin the evening with a shared dinner in the Fellowship Hall. This relaxed time allows families to connect\, meet others in the Floris community\, and prepare for the worship experience together. \n6:00 PM | Family Communion Service\nAfter dinner\, we’ll gather for a brief but meaningful communion service designed especially for families. Through simple teaching and reflection\, both children and adults will learn about the meaning of communion and why it continues to be an important part of the Christian faith. \nChildren will also have a special role in the service.
