Advent Study
The Place to Be:
Finding Belonging at Christmas
Join us for a four-week spiritual journey through Rome, Jerusalem, Nazareth, and Bethlehem. This study connects to our weekly sermons and invites you to discover where you truly belong at Christmas.
This study plans a four-stop spiritual journey to enrich our observation and celebration of the Advent season. The journey toward Christmas on which begins in Rome, the seat of supreme political power in the first century; continues to Jerusalem, Israel’s holiest city; goes through Nazareth, a village so seemingly inconsequential it is unknown in first-century literature outside of the New Testament; and ends in Bethlehem, where Christians believe the Sovereign God became flesh as a baby cradled in a manger.
