Modern Music

Full Circle Band

About Full Circle Band

Full Circle Band (FCB) leads worship at the 9 a.m. worship service, as well as provides music for concerts and special events throughout the year. Full Circle Band is comprised of students and adults who wish to worship God by experiencing music ranging from praise and worship hits to original music written by the group; from the cutting edge of Christian music to secular music that speaks to the Christian life.

How to Join

Individual auditions happen throughout the year. For specifics about the time requirements, desired skills and audition information, contact Megan Dietrick at

The range of musical experience varies greatly among the members of FCB, but due to the group’s limited rehearsal opportunities, a modicum of proficiency is required.

Modern Choir

Have you always wanted to join a choir but have been intimidated because you can’t read music? Do you love to sing and worship God?  Are you looking for a way to get plugged in musically, but only want a short-term commitment?

If so, this is the choir for you!

Volunteer Opportunities  |  Children’s Groups

Share your musical gifts! Floris UMC is looking for volunteers to lead and accompany our children’s choirs.

Hallelujah Children’s Choir (Grades 3-6)
Little Praisers Choir (Grades K-2)

Musical experience is a must, but a music degree is not required. Volunteers must pass a background check and attend a child safety course.

For more information or to volunteer, contact Laura Shelton at

Floris UMC is looking for two Directors to lead our two children’s choirs.

Both choirs rehearse once per week on Sunday at 10 a.m. We have several resources and a great children’s music library! The choirs sing in worship one Sunday per month (October-May) and during special events, such as Family Christmas Eve Service and Good Friday Cantata.

Floris UMC is looking for two accompanists for our two children’s choirs.

Volunteers will play the piano in weekly rehearsals and, if needed, accompany the choir in worship.
