Confirmation 2026 Interest Meeting

Are you ready to take the next step in your faith journey?
The Confirmation 2026 program at Floris UMC invites students in eighth grade and above to explore what it means to claim their faith as their own, grow in their understanding of the United Methodist Church, and deepen their relationship with God and others.

Confirmation is an exciting milestone that helps students move from learning about faith to living it out. Throughout this multi-month experience, participants will engage in lessons, discussions, and service opportunities designed to help them grow spiritually and feel more connected to the life of the church.

Program Overview

The journey begins with an Interest Meeting on Sunday, October 12, where students and parents can learn more about the program and ask questions.

• Opening Retreat: Saturday, January 10
• Weekly Confirmation Meetings: Sundays at 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. — January 18, 25; February 1, 15, 22; March 1, 8, 15, 22; April 19
• Retreat Weekend: April 10–12 at Concord Retreat Center
• Confirmation Sunday: April 26

Each gathering provides space for conversation, reflection, and growth. Students will explore key topics such as the meaning of baptism, the story of our faith, and how to live as a follower of Jesus in everyday life.

Registration opens October 12, 2025, and closes January 3, 2026. The cost is $250 per participant, which includes retreat expenses and materials.
