Crossing the Divide

Does thinking about election year 2024 cause anxiety and dread? Do you worry about the fallout in certain relationships? Have you felt no choice but to end relationships that mean a lot to you? Americans are distancing themselves from loved ones, avoiding family gatherings, dropping out of religious congregations, parting ways over social norms and breaking up over politics. It doesn’t have to be that way. But, if we don’t change directions, that division will remain.
Join Pastor Gina for two nights of dinner and discussion. She will talk about how we, as Christians, can mend divisions with family and friends, even when we disagree. Come to one session or both – each will be unique and independent.
5:45 p.m. – Dinner (optional) | $15/person, $5/child under age 12
6:30 p.m. – Class
Bring the whole family! All ages are welcome to enjoy dinner. Eat with your children (three months – grade 5), then take them to have fun in childcare (with prior registration) while you attend the class. Students (grades 6-12) are also encouraged to join the conversation.
