Mission Trip to Cuba
February 12 - February 20
Since 2007, Floris UMC has sent mission teams to Cuba annually through United Methodist Volunteers in Mission (UMVIM). Our teams focus primarily on rebuilding and constructing new churches while providing spiritual support to the Methodist Church of Cuba. We also have the opportunity to participate in the local church by attending worship services, group dinners and Bible study. There is also time to visit local sites in Cuba!
The Visa process takes about three months, so we will identify a team by mid-September.
