Join the Music Ministry Kick-Off at Floris UMC!

This fall, we’re excited to launch another inspiring season of music at Floris United Methodist Church! Whether you love to sing, play an instrument, or simply enjoy the fellowship of making music together, there’s a place for you in our music ministry. From children to adults, beginners to experienced musicians, our choirs and ensembles are open to all who want to share the gift of music in worship and community.

Here’s what’s coming up this September as we kick off the season:

  • Wednesday, September 3 at 7:30 PM – Sanctuary Choir
    Join our dynamic adult choir that leads worship weekly with beautiful choral anthems. No audition required—just a love for singing!
  • Sunday, September 7 at 9:30 AM – Floris Wind Ensemble
    If you play a band or orchestral instrument, this is your opportunity to add joy and energy to our worship services.
  • Sunday, September 7 at 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM – Handbell Choirs (Laudate & Jubilate Ringers)
    Experience the unique beauty of ringing handbells. Both new and seasoned ringers are welcome!
  • Sunday, September 21 from 10:15–10:45 AM – Children’s Choirs (Little Praisers & Hallelujah Choir)
    Our youngest musicians are invited to lift their voices in song, learn about worship, and build friendships.
  • Sunday, September 28 at 12:15 PM – Christmas Cantata Choir
    Love Christmas music? Be part of our special Cantata Choir for the holiday season! This short-term choir is perfect for those who can’t commit year-round but want to sing for one of our most beloved services.
Ready to join? Registration is now open!
Please register here to let us know which choir or ensemble you’d like to participate in. Registering helps us prepare music, organize rehearsal spaces, and warmly welcome you into the group.
