For over two decades, Floris United Methodist Church has been answering the call to serve communities impacted by natural disasters. From hurricanes and flooding to tornadoes, our mission teams have brought hope and help to areas across the country. Now, we invite you to be part of our next journey—our North Carolina Mission Trip.
Floris UMC has sent more than 60 teams to disaster-stricken areas in states like Mississippi, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kentucky, New Jersey, and New York. Over 600 volunteers have rolled up their sleeves, built homes, cleared debris, and most importantly, offered compassion to those in need. This work continues as long as there are communities in need of recovery.
Whether you’re skilled in construction or have never held a hammer, your presence and willingness to help make a difference. We welcome all experience levels—there’s a place for everyone on this mission.
All missioners must be 18+ or 16-18 if accompanied by a parent or designated chaperone, and there’s no upper age limit—just bring your heart and hands ready to serve! From teens to retirees, our teams are made up of people who simply want to make a tangible impact in the lives of others.
