Peacemaking at a Time of War

Join Palestinian Noor A’wad and Rabbi Hanan Schlesinger, an Israeli settler, of the Roots/Shorashim/Judur Israeli-Palestinian grassroots initiative for understanding, nonviolence, and transformation. They share their experiences, given their proximity to the October 7, 2023, events, and present Roots’ groundbreaking and challenging work. Discover their prerequisites for lasting peace for all people in their homeland: a deep conviction, human understanding, and trust. Everyone is welcome.
Rabbi Hanan Schlesinger and Noor A’wad are leaders in the West Bank-based Roots/Shorashim/Judur. They represent a unique network of Israelis and Palestinians who consider themselves partners, working together to end the conflict.
