Spring

Bright Life

High school students enjoy an annual spring retreat to a camp/retreat center. This event allows high students to get away and reconnect with God and strengthen friendships with each other. The weekend consists of camp fun – s’mores, games, and other activities – as well as large group talks and small group discussions.

Registration opens in January; the retreat is usually in March or April.

2024 Bright Life Spring Retreat: March 8-10 at Camp Overlook in Keezletown, VA

XRoads

XRoads joins middle school students throughout Virginia for The JOURNEY program, a retreat hosted by Jeremiah Project. This fun-filled weekend includes outdoor activities, guest speakers, and a worship band.

Registration opens in January; the retreat is usually in March.

Fall

Bright Life & XRoads Together

Middle and high school students get together for an annual Fall Retreat. The weekend provides a chance for students to grow in their relationships with God and each other as they spend time at camp. This retreat has activities specifically for middle and high school students, as well as combined instruction.

Registration opens in late August/early September; the retreat is usually in November.

Confirmation

Two retreats are included in Confirmation. Retreats are an important component of the Confirmation process as they provide an opportunity for students to bond with one another.
