The Congregational Care Ministry at Floris UMC seeks to provide Christian care to our Floris UMC friends and members. Our pastors, congregational care staff and volunteers connect with others to help them through various life situations.
Through our various support groups, care ministry, prayer blanket ministry, congregational care minister volunteers, pastoral staff and prayer team, we seek to comfort those in need. To find out more, please contact Roger Mahach.
If you have an urgent spiritual need or need a Pastor after hours, Pastoral care is available from 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM on weekdays and all day on weekends and holidays. Please call 703-936-2273. Examples of an urgent matter are:
- unplanned hospitalization
- prayer or a visit before surgery
- you or a loved one has been in a serious accident
- sudden death of a loved one
