Floris UMC Music Ministry has many opportunities to showcase your musical talents while serving others. We have a vocal group for every age and skill level. All choirs welcome new members throughout the year.

Share your musical gifts! Floris UMC is looking for volunteers to lead and accompany our children’s choirs.
- Hallelujah Children’s Choir (Grades 3-6)
- Little Praisers Choir (Grades K-2)
- Joyful Noise (Preschool)
Musical experience is a must, but a music degree is not required. Volunteers must pass a background check and attend a child safety course.
Directors
Floris UMC is looking for two Directors to lead our two children’s choirs.
Both choirs rehearse once per week on Sunday at 10 a.m. We have several resources and a great children’s music library! The choirs sing in worship one Sunday per month (October-May) and during special events, such as Family Christmas Eve Service and Good Friday Cantata.
Accompanists
Floris UMC is looking for two accompanists for our two children’s choirs.
Volunteers will play the piano in weekly rehearsals and, if needed, accompany the choir in worship.
