Chapel Open for Election Day

Chapel Open for Election Day
Take a moment to pause, pray, and reflect.
Election Day is an opportunity to reflect on our communities, our neighbors, and the future we hope to build together. On Tuesday, November 3, our chapel will be open throughout the day, offering a quiet and welcoming space for prayer, reflection, and contemplation.
Whether you’re preparing to vote, have already cast your ballot, or simply want a moment of peace amid the busyness of the day, we invite you to stop by the chapel. Take a few minutes to step away from daily distractions, settle your thoughts, and spend time in prayer.
A Space for Prayer and Reflection
In a season when conversations about our nation’s future can bring a range of emotions, making space for stillness can be meaningful. Our chapel offers an opportunity to pause, seek God’s presence, and reflect on the values that guide us, including compassion, justice, wisdom, and love for our neighbors.
You may wish to pray for our nation, our local community, elected leaders, and all those who serve the public. You might also use this time to pray for people with different perspectives and experiences, asking God to help us approach one another with humility, grace, and understanding.
There is no special preparation or formal participation required. Come as you are, stay for a few moments or longer, and use the space in whatever way is meaningful to you.
Praying for Our Community and Our Nation
As people of faith, we have an opportunity to lift up our communities in prayer, especially during moments that shape our shared civic life. We can pray for wisdom for those making decisions, peace among our neighbors, and a spirit of unity that allows us to care for one another even when we disagree.
Opening the chapel on Election Day is a simple way to make room for these prayers and reflections. It is an invitation to turn our attention toward God, remember our shared humanity, and seek guidance for the days ahead.
You’re Invited
Our chapel will be open all day on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. We welcome you to stop in whenever it works for you and spend some time in quiet prayer and reflection.
Whether you come for a brief moment of stillness or a longer time of prayer, we hope the chapel provides a peaceful place to pause and reconnect with what matters most.
Join us in making space for prayer, peace, and hope this Election Day.
