What happens when we move from learning about an issue to doing something about it?
We lead with love.
Join us for a meaningful day of worship and service as we close out an impactful weekend focused on poverty, food insecurity, and the challenges facing our communities. Throughout the weekend, we’ll have opportunities to learn, listen, understand, and consider how we can make a difference. This Rise Against Hunger packaging event gives us the opportunity to take that learning one step further and put love into action.
Serve Together
Volunteers of all ages will work together to package nutritious meals that will be distributed to communities experiencing hunger around the world. It’s a hands-on experience where your time and energy can make a tangible difference.
Multiple packaging sessions will be available before and after the 9 and 11 a.m. worship services, making it easy to participate as part of your Sunday.

No special experience or skills are required. There’s a role for everyone, whether this is your first service project or you’ve been volunteering for years.
From Learning to Action
This weekend is designed to help us see more clearly, care more deeply, and respond more faithfully.
The Rise Against Hunger packaging event is a chance to take what we’ve learned about food insecurity and poverty and turn compassion into action. Together, we can do more than talk about the challenges people face. We can roll up our sleeves and become part of the solution.
As we pack meals, we’ll also experience the power of serving alongside one another. There will be opportunities to connect, share conversation, laugh, and work toward a common purpose.

- Set Up: 6–7:30 a.m.
- Packaging Session 1: 7:30–8:30 a.m.
- Packaging Session 2: 10–11 a.m.
- Packaging Session 3: Noon–1 p.m.
- Clean Up: 1–1:30 p.m.
