Football season is here, and there’s no better way to celebrate than by joining fellow Floris friends for a casual NFL opening weekend meetup! Whether you’re a die-hard fan, a casual observer, or just looking for a fun way to connect with our community, this gathering is for you.

Join Megan and other members of Floris UMC as we cheer on the Washington Commanders as they take on the New York Giants at 1:00 p.m. Look for our group in the back room at Ned Devine’s Irish Pub in Herndon and grab a Floris sticker to show your spirit! This is a relaxed, welcoming environment where everyone—newcomers, friends, and neighbors alike—can enjoy the game, good conversation, and great company.

This event is not private, so feel free to invite friends, neighbors, or anyone who enjoys football and fellowship. No RSVP is required—just show up, grab a seat, and join the fun. Whether you want to talk strategy, debate plays, or just enjoy the energy of opening weekend with like-minded folks, you’ll find a spot with the Floris crew.
