Sew Face Masks

Calling all crafters! Given the demand for masks as a result of coronavirus contagion, the DMV region is already seeing a shortage for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) like face masks.

COVID-19 Fund

We have established a relief fund to assist families in our church and community during this time of economic uncertainty using funds from our Christmas Eve offering. Floris UMC is partnering with local agencies to identify people and families in the community who most need financial assistance. These ministry partners have established vetting processes and expertise. We want to work alongside them to provide this much needed support. We will also help families in our church who may need assistance. If you would like to donate to the relief fund, you can contribute online. Select “COVID-19 Relief Fund” in the drop down menu. You may also mail a check to the church with “COVID-19 Relief Fund” on the memo line.

During COVID19, She Believes has altered its mission to provide food and resources to all families in need. They are delivering food to families daily, in addition to providing biweekly grocery needs to our most vulnerable.
